This is a great little seafood place. It takes a little bit for your food to arrive because they cook it fresh as ordered. I had the fried flounder platter and was very satisfied. Also the hush puppies were very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and were very patient with my 3 years old twins. Overall this place is a great value for the money. You're getting excellent seafood without the price of the big corporate places. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff. Very limited fish selection with no shellfish. More customers were stopping in for a cheap meal rather than shopping for something to take home. Fish sandwich and fries for less than $5 and all you can eat specials for less than $8. I was looking for something to cook at home and bought some good quality redfish. I'll probably return to try a sandwich but I think I'll do my take home shopping at Mr. Fish due to the larger selection and they have shellfish.

I went on a Saturday afternoon with my spouse and while the staff was great the food was anything but "fresh". We had haddock and coconut shrimp and both of us thought they were old, though well prepared. With all the fish joints in MB I would not come back here.

I came here because I had a deal saver, which is essentially half off. The first time I ordered was oysters and shrimp, And I ordered it to go,,,bad mistake seafood never travels well. This time I ordered chicken strips (oysters being out if season) and butterflied shrimp. Bottom line, at this dive, the price is right, the staff friendly, and plenty to eat. For good eats at a good price come here!

I purchased two dinners (for pickup) for my parents based upon the reviews that I read on Yelp. I bought one Big Four platter and one Shrimp & Scallops platter. The cost for both together was $40. Upon getting home, both to-go boxes were less than half full. My mom stared with disbelief after she opened it. My dad's Big Four plate was also underfilled. The quantity was less than ideal. As for the taste, they both complained that it was a bit too salty. I had high hopes for this place based upon previous reviews. We definitely will not be going back.

Stopped in while on vacation after reading the reviews on here. The location is a little unassuming, but don't let that fool you. The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff extremely friendly. We had catfish, haddock, bay scallops, oysters, frog legs, coconut shrimp, and the standard fries, hush puppies, and cole slaw at the table. Everything was fantastic - it pleased the grandparents, and that's worth a 5 star review alone. The manager also brought some crab dip that he had made that wasn't on the menu yet - ask for it when you go.

This place is low rent, but the food was good. It's all fried, so if you want something grilled, this is not the place for you. 3 stars for OK, but not great atmosphere. But for the price, it was actually pretty good.

We found this place off the main drag and it as good if not better than the big fancy places with the big fancy neon signs. Definitely a mom and pops place with great personal service and great prices. I had the combo platter with frog legs and sea scallops.everything was cooked to perfection with just the right seasonings. The coleslaw was fantastic along hush puppies and fries. If you don't have to have the booze in order enjoy your meal than this is the place for you.

Was not impressed with the service or the food. Fish was frozen and not fresh as advertised, hush puppies were burnt, fries were undercooked, and clam chowder was the worst I have ever had (clearly from a can). Not sure what yelp reviews ordered but the fish dinners are not the thing to get! We were the only ones in the restaurant and the service was nonexistent.

I've been to this place every visit for three years. Might be in a dead shopping center beside Kmart, but hands down best fried seafood for the price anywhere at the beach. If you don't do dives, don't go here.

This is one of those weird local places you have to try. While it doesn't look like much, the staff are extremely hospitable and the seafood is delicious. I had the coconut shrimp and my boyfriend had the crab legs. Both were quite yummy. They also make their own tarter and cocktail sauces.

This is a small place, but the food was incredible! We got there early because we have a small baby and the staff were great! They spoke to us and made us feel welcome, and after we ordered, the food was made fresh! It smelled so good and tasted even better! Great fish and crab cakes, but the shrimp was the BEST!!! The prices were very reasonable too! It's totally worth the visit!

My mother and I were looking for a grocery store and drove past this place and saw the sign in front "fish sandwich and fries $5." We briefly discussed how good that sounded as we drove away then she said, should we go back?" Well, we did and it was an excellent decision. Since I'm not from the area not sure if this is a locals type of place but that's the vibe it gives. I loved the decor. Our waitress took our order immediately and roughly 10 mins later I had what would never appear in front of me if I ordered a fish sandwich back home in Indiana, which is a good thing. I smothered my sandwich is Tator sauce and devoured it. Best $5 I've ever spent on a fish sandwich. My mother agrees. These are the types of places the make me wish I lived by an ocean.

Here's a piece of advice: when vacationing, leave behind the big name restaurants and ask locals where they like to go. With that being said, The Fresh Seafood Company is probably going to go down as the best fried seafood I have ever had. No joke. At first glance, it doesnt look like much. It's housed in the same complex as a kmart and the outside sign is hard to read.... BUT this place is a precious gem. Martin is the guy who was running the show inside. He was our server and the cook, plus waiting on patrons who were buying and taking out. So it was a tad slow, but we were on vacation and weren't In a rush. He is super nice and funny and doesn't treat you like a paycheck the way that vacationers are sometimes treated. If you visit, be sure to say hello! I ordered the coconut shrimp and fish combo. All dishes are served with fries, 2 hushpuppies, and slaw. The coconut shrimp was to die for. I'm already grieving the fact that I have to go back to Ohio with its subpar coconut shrimp. The fish was fresh and delicious and the portions were fair for the price. My mom ordered the crab cakes and said they were the best she's ever had (I tasted them and they were fantastic). My niece and husband both got the butterfly shrimp.... simply delicious! Next time I'm going to forgo the coleslaw and get some extra hushpuppies. If you want to go off the beaten path and support some local businesses plus eat some of the best fried seafood you'll ever have.... go here. Protip: They get fresh deliveries every Monday so the closer you are from that day, be prepared to have to be told they are out of crab legs.

Great seafood. Oysters were especially good fried. Ordered a 1/2 lb of the crab dip for a snack on New Year's Day. I really like this place. Don't come expecting atmosphere and drinks, just great fried seafood

Read my review under Fresh Seafood Co. Restaurant this is how they now advertise it. Previous reviews are likely spot-on. If I had to guess they have a new owner or management. The current cook had been there less than 4 months. I would suggest all previous reviewers revisit. If you like Calabash style you won't like this. I suggest if you do go get a lunch special to save $$ before you pay $13.99 for 17 fries, 5 rock hard fried oysters, 5 froglegs & slaw.

Hard to find but worth the trouble. Currently in an abandoned KMart lot on 17, it was tough to spot, but the scallops were some of the best scallops I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and not smothered in breading. Will was chef, server and chief attendant- very friendly- we chatted a good bit. Turns out he recently came here from another store in Charleston, WV, that my husband has eaten at when on business trips. Food was very good, reasonably priced, Great New England Clam chowder. He likely won't have time to chat during high season- but try this place out good seafood. and none of that all you can eat that charges an arm and a leg. good sized servings.

Fresh fast good! We love the flounder sandwiches here. The seafood is fresh and cooked to order. Every thing have tried has been good.

I was actually quite surprised by the taste. It was good. Not pricey at all. Service a little slow but definitely beats paying twice as much on the blvd.

Chef Will and server Sammy were great. The food was yummy. We would go there again and again
